Vertical Clap, partner of the Duanju Festival 2026
A first French festival for micro-drama
The Duanju Festival launches its first edition in 2026, built around a screenplay competition for micro-drama — vertical series of 45 seconds to 4 minutes made for the phone. It is organised by the Association Studio Phocéen (which publishes Duanju News) with several partners. (Source: duanju.events.)
Key dates & how to enter
Registrations are open until 15 November 2026; the official selection is announced on 1 December, and the winner is revealed at the closing ceremony on 21 December. To enter, you submit a concept — title, pitch, main characters and the first two dialogued episodes — plus a short presentation (genre, audience, stakes, season arc), as PDF. It is open to everyone, in any language (a French version is preferred). Authors keep all their rights — no exclusivity or transfer. (Source: duanju.events.)
Vertical Clap, recommended partner
The festival recommends Vertical Clap to its candidates: the app helps structure a vertical series and assemble the submission file, from the first idea to the final PDF. A natural fit — exactly what the competition asks for. See the Duanju Festival →
